Thorough Screening supports the following user types:
Employers
Landlords / Property Managers
Applicants
Each user is responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful screening purposes, including:
Employment screening
Tenant screening
Personal background reports for self-review
You must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and relevant state laws.
Before requesting any report, Employers and Landlords must obtain explicit consent from the Applicant, Co-Applicant, or Guarantor.
By submitting information, Applicants certify that:
They have provided accurate and truthful information
They authorize Thorough Screening to obtain background reports on their behalf
Reports are compiled from third-party data sources believed to be reliable
Thorough Screening does not guarantee completeness or accuracy of reports
Employers and Landlords are solely responsible for decisions made based on reports
6. Payments & Refunds
All payments are due at the time of order
No refunds are provided once a report has been generated
If a report fails to generate due to a system error, a replacement or refund may be issued at our discretion
Applicants may purchase reports for personal use and share them with third parties.
Thorough Screening is not responsible for how third parties interpret or use applicant-provided reports.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:
Misuse of the Service
Violation of these Terms
Fraudulent or unlawful activity
Thorough Screening shall not be liable for:
Employment or housing decisions made by users
Losses arising from report inaccuracies
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
